How to Ship a Firearm to Founders Armory
A simple, transparent process for having a firearm purchased elsewhere transferred through our Clinton, Utah FFL.

When buying online, choose Founders Armory LLC as your receiving FFL. If the retailer can't find us, contact us and we will provide our FFL license directly.
Wait for Confirmation
Once your firearm arrives, we will inspect it and notify you by SMS or email. Please wait until you are contacted and your appointment is confirmed before coming to pick up your firearm.
Complete the Transfer
Arrive for your scheduled appointment with a valid government-issued photo ID. We complete ATF Form 4473, run the required NICS background check, and legally transfer the firearm to you.
What to Bring for Your Transfer
- A valid, government-issued photo ID (such as a driver's license) showing your current residential address.
- Your appointment confirmation — please wait until we contact you before arriving.
- Payment for the transfer fee and any applicable background-check fee.
- A Utah Concealed Firearm Permit (CFP), if you have one — this waives the NICS background-check fee.
All firearm transfers are subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws and required background-check procedures. Founders Armory cannot transfer a firearm to a prohibited person or waive any legal requirement.
